First step, if you cannot see the device under Lantronix Devices, make sure you are using the proper network adapter.
In this case, you can see Wi-Fi being selected, we need to change that in order to test the device via Ethernet.
Click on Tools then select Options
On the options window, select Ethernet, then save changes.
Afterward, ethernet will be detected as an XPort Device if done correctly.
If the device is still not found within DeviceInstaller, please follow the steps in this article.
Connection Com port over TCP/IP
Open Lantronix Device Installer, it will provide you with the Ip address of the device.
Connect the ATC810 adapter to the NET232+
Plug the ACT810 into the USB port on the PC
Open Device Manager on the PC, and locate USB serial Port, write down the COM port (in this case COM6)
Open a Tera Term session
Select TCP/IP and enter the IP address that was given in the DeviceInstaller
Then select Telnet and TCP Port 10001, then Click OK
Open a second Tera Term window and select Serial, on the drop-down menu, and select USB Serial port.
If done correctly your NET232+ should talk from Ethernet to the USB serial port created by the ATC810 adapter.
