Pairing two Bluetooth devices

The simplest method for pairing to units is by using the DIP switches on the front of the units. One unit will have to be set as a master and one as a slave, and they will both need to be in discovery mode.  Switch 2 controls discovery mode and switch 3 controls master mode. To set up the devices in a master/slave pairing, set the DIP switches on the front of the unit to match the diagrams below. Once the devices are paired you can turn Switch 2 on both units to the off position. This will store the Bluetooth addresses so they will automatically pair upon power up. If you do not want them to be paired automatically you can leave switch 2 in the on position and they will remain discoverable to pair with other devices. Be sure to keep the devices at about arm’s length apart when pairing.

Note: Be sure to always power cycle (off/on) the unit after changing the switch position for the change to take effect.
