Reset the Smart Outlet to Default Settings

If you are having trouble connecting, the first recommended step is to reset the unit to its factory settings. This often remedies any initial connection issues you might experience.


  • Hold down both buttons on the side of the unit for approximately 10 seconds. 



  • You will see both LEDs on the front of the unit start to blink Red.


  • Release the buttons.
  • The green light in the upper, left-hand corner of the Smart Outlet will start blinking indicating that it is ready to start the Wireless Accessory Configuration (WAC) and HomeKit pairing process.
  • The unit will be reset
